We saw in the Task to be Solved section, that the purpose of an HTML editor is to make producing attractive, informative web pages as easy as possible, and limit the amount of html programming needed to a minimum. We then summarized the features of the four editors in our comparison matrix, and gave an indepth review of each individual editor.
To summarize the findings of our review, we must say that all the editors we reviewed had their strong points. They all were designed to reduce the difficulty and monotony of HTML page layouts, and they did just that. However the two which did the job better than the others were Adobe Pagemill and Hotmetal Pro. If you need a tool to assist with web publishing we would highly recommend either one.
