You need to provide a more convincing argument that accounts for the
different ways of rendering DL lists. Another point is that smarter
browsers might allow people to collapse (fold) lists. The LH element
provides a single header that can be used when the list is folded,
playing the same role as a directory name. This wouldn't work for
<dthd> and <ddhd>, and you would still need <LH>.
